The AIDS HIV transmission can actually occur in various ways. The one way in which AIDS HIV transmission is most known to get transmitted is through the exchange of body fluids during the course of a sexual intercourse. The fact is that the virus needs to get into the body fluids of another person for the virus to start affecting the other person. It is well know that when one has unsafe sex with someone, the exchange of body fluids is natural and if one of the partners is infected then it is likely that a single communion shall result in the transmission of the virus on to the other person. This can happen if the sex is anal or vaginal in nature. In fact the virus can be transmitted through the lining of the vagina, the penis, the vulva, the rectum and also the mouth. Another very commonly known cause of the transmission is the sharing of syringes that occurs among drug takers.

People who take recreational drugs seldom have the time, money or the sensibility of using different syringes when taking these drugs through the injection mode and therefore transmission of HIV is common among these people. Since the syringes can carry remnants of the blood from various people, one never knows who is infected with the condition or is otherwise an HIV positive person who passes on the virus without himself showing the symptoms as yet. When you are on drugs the last thing that you can be bothered about is that you may be sharing syringes with someone who already has the condition and therefore harming yourself to a large extent.

The most common female to male HIV transmission occurs in the womb when the woman is pregnant and the baby is in the womb. If the HIV positive aspect of the pregnant mother is not know she may not show any symptoms of the condition and yet be HIV positive and pass on the cells to her unborn male child.

The HIV AIDS transmission is something that all of us should be careful about and if we know the aspects to avoid we can then be careful about things like unsafe sex and common syringes. Using a condom can help you avoid this transmission and the use of disposable syringes has been made mandatory everywhere by the government organizations and rules.

While these are the most common ways in which HIV can be transmitted there is also one another. If a careless medical institution does not check the blood that people donate for HIV, it is possible that the virus can be passed on with the infected blood. This is grave issue and such AIDS HIV transmission should not be allowed at all.

It is important to know the HIV symptoms that can occur at the early stages because then you can be aware of the fact that these need to be looked out for. Since the HIV attacks the immune system it affects the entire body and can actually affect any of the organs in the body as well. Also since the body’s immune system is attacked there are all sorts of issues that can crop up including bacterial infection, viral infection and fungi and parasite attacks. There are also increased risks of getting all kinds of diseases including cancer and lymphomas. There are also almost always some fevers, sweats, chills that accompany the condition. Weakness and continued weight loss is something that has also become a mainstay of the disease. And if there is excessive weight loss there is bound to be some issue that the person is facing. While there is no treatment for the condition the fact is that if you notice the condition early, it can be managed in a better way and you can then avoid all the other painful times that you may have gone through earlier. Patients who are diagnosed with HIV also need therapy so that they can handle the discovery better.

The HIV early symptoms occur when the body tries to react to the HIV and tries to fight it back. This stage is also called the eroconversion illness stage and in most cases the symptoms do not appear till the disease reaches the third stage. The asymptomatic stage of the condition is where the HIV remains latent.

In this stage there are no specific HIV AIDS symptoms and this stage can last up to ten years if not more. Since there is nothing that really affects the body and there are no symptoms whatsoever, this stage remains undetected unless there is some kind of a test done to confirm.

Since no symptom HIV exists the issue is that the HIV can be transferred from the carrier to other people without anyone realizing that the disease is being passed on. And therefore it is essential that you get an HIV test done if you have indulged in anything that can spread the disease.

When the HIV virus does begin to start taking shape the first few symptoms of HIV are related to fevers and chills and many people first notice a huge weight loss that occurs. This fever and chill refuses to go away and therefore indicates a problem more complicated than a simple infection.

If you are a responsible citizen of the world, then you should know that you should get yourself tested even if you do not show any specific symptoms. This is because you can carry the virus without showing any HIV symptoms whatsoever and if you value the health of your loved ones, you should be worried.

There are various alternative remedies that claim to cure AIDS but the fact of the matter is that there is no complete cure for this condition and those who are diagnosed as HIV positive may never be able to get rid of the virus all their lives. The disease is such that people have the virus and are therefore HIV positive but the symptoms may not actually surface for many years. In some cases the symptoms may not make an appearance for as many as ten years. But when they start to do so the prognosis then is not very good and the patient can only last for a maximum of 9 to 11 years depending on the specific type of HIV that the patient is afflicted with. But then there are some of these alternative therapies like acupuncture, ayurveda, herbal and acupressure that claim that their traditional medicine has the cure that conventional medicines do not have till date.

While some of the therapies claim that they cure the condition, there is yet no medicine or therapy that has been proven to be able to do so. Not a single medicine has been able to prove unequivocally that it cures AIDS. In fact there has been some proof of the fact that these remedies do help in making the life of the patient easier to lead especially since the therapies do not have the side effects that are associated with the regular medicines. So while these alternative medicines also do not reduce mortality rates they do allow the patient to lead a better life after the confirmed diagnosis of the condition.

If there are these traditional medicines and herbs that claim that they cure HIV AIDS they are obviously laying claims to something that has not been proved in any laboratory. In fact in this case there are no empirical cases where the patient has been cured of HIV AIDS and therefore one must use these therapies with care. Cure for AIDS is just not available.

Since the cure for HIV AIDS has not been found as yet it should be known that the only manner in which there can be some control of the epidemic is to prevent it. On the other hand the only option left for those who are afflicted with the condition is to try and alleviate the symptoms as much as possible.

The pain and the various problems that arise in the body need to be managed and there is really nothing beyond this that any physician can do. There are various experiments that are underway to find a remedy that can cure AIDS but when either of them shall be ready and confirmed and tested beyond doubt is something that is not known as yet.

Almost everyone knows that there is no comprehensive HIV AIDS treatment that you can take to get rid of the disease completely. In fact there is a large period of time when you may have the human immunedeficiency virus and yet not show any symptoms of the disease. At this stage it is extremely difficult for anyone to know that you are actually a carrier of the disease unless some specific tests are performed to confirm the situation. In such cases too, the only prevention that one can then take is to ensure safe sex and not be allow your blood or sexual fluids to come in contact with anyone else. Since the virus can exist in the body for almost 10 years without causing any symptom there is this debate about when the HIV AIDS treatment should actually be started. Some people feel that the most common antiretroviral therapy should be started when the CD4-T cell count becomes less than 350 cell per cubic millimeter. There are no set specific illnesses that define when the treatment should start and the fact is that these illnesses can also occur in those who do not have the virus, making it difficult to make the illnesses as a benchmark.

It is said that the largest challenge in the AIDS HIV treatment is to ensure that the protocols for the treatment are followed seriously and without any miss. Since the treatment options are tough they require a fair amount of time and therefore it becomes difficult for people to add those in their schedule.

AIDS treatments can take a lot of time but there are ways in which you can ensure that you do not waste time where you can save it. For example, use a medicine pill box to sort the medications ahead of time. Keeping the whole weeks pills in a pill case is a good idea.

The treatment for AIDS may be tough to adhere to but the fact is that not doing so can only worsen the prognosis. You need to make an extra special effort to remember to take the medicines. Keeping an alarm for the doctor appointments is also something that you should do.

If you are a working person then you could set the alarm as if you are setting meetings in your email address and calendar so that there is no way that you will forget taking your medicines on time. If you need to keep this confidential, you can always go to the rest rooms to take the medicine.

Despite all these tips that you adopt, if taking the medicines is becoming an issue, you can speak to your doctor and see if the schedule of the medication can be changed to match your lifestyle. There are some changes that can always be made but some may not be possible in the HIV AIDS treatment.

With the kind of rapid increase that one has seen in the spread of HIV AIDS< there are many camps that do free aids testing so that those who have latent HIV virus can also be identified and required precautions can be taken. The fact is that while these free camps are organized the world over it is very difficult to have people actually come and take these tests and understand whether they have the latent virus in them or not. In most cases the free aids testing that is used in these camps are rapid HIV tests that is actually a screening test that allows the first results to come in within 5 minutes to 30 minutes and therefore you can be relieved of the tension that you may otherwise go through. The earlier done Elisa test that was known for HIV testing took about one to two weeks for the results to come in and this caused a lot of stress and tension.

The good thing is that the rapid tests for aids and testing are known to be fairly reliable and as accurate as compared to the erstwhile Elisa test. However this test is only a screening and before the doctor can unequivocally state that the patient is infected with the HIV virus, there are other confirmatory tests that have to be performed. If the screening test is positive, it puts further pressure on the patient and there is a lot of anxiety for the results of the confirmatory test to come in. Some of the tests are Radioimmunoprecipitation Assay (RIPA), Rapid Latex Agglutination Assay, Dot-blot Immunobinding Assay and p24 Antigen Capture Assay.

AIDS HIV testing called RIPA is a confirmatory test and can be used when some of the other tests like the Western blot tests are not certain. The test is extremely expensive though and should be done only when it is required to be confirmed above all doubts. It is also a difficult test to perform and therefore needs specific expertise.

While there are a fair number of AIDS test that are available and can be down, the fact is that the ones that take long for the results can be extremely antagonizing and difficult to handle. The kind of trauma that the patient and the family go through after the tests have been done and while the results are awaited is something that cannot be described.

The agony during the wait is extremely difficult to imagine. This is because of the fact that everyone knows that there is no cure for the condition and if one is diagnosed of HIV then it is only a matter of time till the AID symptoms start to show. So while free AIDS testing is something that various UN social organizations provide, people are still scared to do so.

There is more than drugs and treatment when it comes to HIV AIDS patient care and there are various things and aspects that need to be kept in mind. HIV AIDS patient care involves medicines, drugs and treatment and also an understanding of what the patient may be going through in his head. There are various complications that are involved and knowing that the prognosis cannot last for more than a certain number of years is something that no one can actually handle. It is estimated that with treatment an HIV AIDS patient can survive from anywhere between nine to eleven years and this depends on the specific HIV subtype that has inflicted the person. The drug treatment that is given today is called the antiretroviral treatment that is given immediately after exposing the patient to a significant virus. This is called the post-exposure prophylaxis. All the treatment options however have side effects that are equally difficult to handle and therefore the life of the patient revolves around therapy all the time.

An AIDS HIV patient also goes through a fair amount of trauma after he has been diagnosed of the condition unequivocally. First there is this doubt about the whole thing and the agony that one goes through when one is awaiting results of the screening and confirmatory tests. If the tests are confirmed and one has been told about the condition, then there is the aspect of managing the acceptance of the condition. It is not easy for anyone to accept the fact that he shall be able to live for only a few more years and therefore sometimes therapy is also required. This therapy is mainly done in groups where other patients share their experiences.

An AIDS patients needs to be handled with compassion and empathy. But then there are no set rules about the manner in which the patient should be spoken to. Family and friends who are taking care of the person need to be able to assess this on their own to be able to handle the patient in a manner that is most appropriate.

Some AIDS patients prefer to be handled with empathy but on the other hand there are some that hate the fact that people are looking at them with sympathy and pity. This does not allow an egotistical man with dignity to live the normal life that he led and it brings back thoughts about how he is now not normal any more.

There are also some alternative treatments that claim to be able to manage the condition in a manner that is better than the conventional therapy or treatment. These alternative remedies do not have the side effects that are associated with regular treatment. Therefore there is no harm in trying these out for HIV AIDS patient care.

The first thing that is important in preventing AIDS is AIDS awareness and HIV AIDS information that needs to be shared among all people. And when one says all one basically means all strata’s of society so that the poor and the rich and the illiterate also get to understand what they need to know about AIDS and HIV AIDS information. AIDS is an acquired immune deficiency syndrome that is caused by the human immunodeficiency virus. There is no cure for the condition and the issue is that the disease is spreading extremely rapidly across the world. It has been known to have started in the African continent and now one can find cases all over the world. The spread of the disease is mainly through contaminated blood or sexual fluids and because of this the spread happens mainly when there is unsafe ex involved or some medical institutions are careless about syringes. The spread can also happen through an HIV positive mother to a child while the child is still in the womb.

There are various social institutions that are spreading the right information about AIDS all across the world so that the awareness can help in the prevention and therefore the future spread of the disease. This is mainly because of the fact that prevention is the only manner in which the disease can be controlled. Otherwise it seems that the disease may not be able to be controlled. While prevention is the best cure once should also know about the various symptoms to watch out for. Early detection can at least help you manage the situation in a much better manner so that you can then take treatment to alleviate the painful symptoms.

If you have adequate information on AIDS then you will know that frequent infections like bacterial infection, fungi infections, viral infections and the like are the first sign of an immune system that is not working properly. Since the condition is something that is related to the immune system, it harms every part of the body and each organ in the body as well.

One of the first problems that starts to show is pulmonary issues like Pneumocystis pneumonia, tuberculosis and tumors. There is the issue of retinitis in the eyes and meningitis and encephalitis in the brain. Tumors of the skin are also very common as is chronic diarrhea and esophagitis. Since these are immune issues, the internal immune system attacks the good cells in the body.

With all these issues that creep up HIV AIDS is a condition that can take various shapes and can harm different people in different ways.

AIDS awareness and HIV AIDS information is necessary to be shared with all and HIV AIDS information can only be shared if there is a concerted effort.

Even though the AIDS virus was first detected in the United States in Los Angles, the AIDS HIV in Africa has been around for longer. This is mainly because of the fact that the origins of the condition were traced back to the Africa. The problem is that the AIDS is a condition that cannot be cured and therefore is fatal in nature. While there are various drugs that can help manage the pain and the symptoms that arise and make them tolerable, there is no permanent cure of the condition. It is said that the penetration of the condition is extremely high in Africa and these numbers are extremely appalling. Therefore it is obvious that some kind of a gargantuan effort shall be required to be able to help solve this problem. There are various social institutions that are dedicated to the cause of AIDS and that too especially in the African region so that there can be something that can be done to prevent the condition from worsening.

AIDS in South Africa goes back many years and since the condition started there, it had already spread to many places before the disease was actually identified by the US Center of Disease Control and Prevention. This basically meant that the penetration was already high when the world woke up the situation that was brewing in the continent. The largest problem in stopping the spread of the virus is that there are people who do not want to accept that they have the virus and since the AIDS symptoms take some time to surface these people continue to have unsafe sex all this while. In addition to this is the non acceptance of the condom.

AIDS in Africa has spread to such high levels due to this refusal to accept the situation and also the stigma attached to using condoms. Some people believe that the condition is something that occurs more due to the poverty that exists in these places rather than lack of education since people do not have adequate levels of monies to purchase condoms.

The AIDS in Africa statistics are fairly appalling and unless some drastic measures are taken there is no way that the epidemic can be avoided or controlled. There are also various UN programs that are dedicated to creating awareness, distributing condoms for safe sex and other such initiatives. The issue however is that one needs to also educate the people to start using these.

Another major issue is also treating the many people who have already contacted the disease and also unearthing those who have the HIV virus without the symptom showing to a large extent. The fact is that people can have the HIV without showing the symptoms of the disease. AIDS HIV in Africa needs a concerted effort to handle and manage.

HIV AIDS history goes a long way back in time and it is said that the virus actually originated in the non human primates in the sub Saharn Africa. It is also said to have been transferred to humans only in the late ninetieth century or the early twentieth century. There are two kinds of HIV that are known today. These are called HIV I and HIV II. The former is known to be more virile and can be transmitted more easily. HIV AIDS history also tells us that the HIV that was transferred to humans was actually a SIV also called the Simian Immunodeficiency Virus that effected chimpanzees. Specifically speaking this virus was known to have been originated in West Central Africa. While some feel that the origin was in the Cameroon, there are others that hypothesize that the origins lie in the Sanaga River. The hunter theory seeks to explain how the transfer from SIV to HIV actually happened. It is thought that a bushmeat hunter was probably bitten by a chimpanzee while hunting or butchering the animal. Since the exposure happened to blood and bodily fluids there was a transfer of the virus that happened and then slowly spread to other humans as well to now become an epidemic.

The AIDS in Africa history is interesting but the fact is that the condition has now been reported in almost all countries in the world. The spread has not been too rapid but the fact that there is no cure for the disease has resulted in situation where it can only be prevented to some extent and not treated completely.

The history of AIDS also helps us understand that the transfer can still happen today to various other species on earth. But the non curable nature of the condition and the rampant unsafe sex that some societies indulge in does not make things easier for those who would like to prevent the condition from moving further and adding to the already large numbers.

It is also a fact that while the history of HIV AIDS lies in Africa, there are other nations now that are struggling to keep the count of HIV positive people under control. This is specifically challenging since a patient can be HIV positive for some time and yet now show any signs of the disease for many years to come.

This makes the task of those working against the disease a very difficult one and one does not know when to start doing something about the condition. This is why free testing camps are arranged so that those who are perfectly normal also can be tested for the virus to prevent the spread from going as fast as it did during the early years of HIV AIDS history.

Just like any other condition, AIDS HIV awareness is the most effective way in combating the fight against this disease that is spreading so rapidly across nations. There has been a fair amount of progress made in this area and from a situation where HIV positive people were shunned they are now at least treated with compassion and care. However, the war has not been won as yet and there are many communities that continue to practice unsafe sex or drug addicts that use common needles for injections and there the need for the AIDS HIV awareness to spread more is still required to a large extent. There are still people that refuse to get a free HIV test done in fear of the problem becoming known as if the problem shall go away on its own.

In an attempt to increase the awareness of the condition there is also an aids awareness day that has been declared for the people to learn more about the condition. On this AIDS awareness day school children are also told about the condition and they are made to take leaflets back home. Many times there are debacles of such things being done but then when there is a fight against something like AIDS, there are these things that need to be tolerated and handled. Some people still think that AIDS is a condition that affects people who are infidels and many such myths need to be broken.

In support of the awareness campaigns for AIDS, there is also an AIDS awareness bracelet that you can wear. This red bracelet is something that announces your support of the cause and all proceeds to the purchase go towards creating more interesting awareness programs so that people can help in the prevention and control of the problem across the world.

You can also contribute to the HIV AIDS awareness program by ensuring that you wear the bracelet. If you want to make your contribution more specific and meaningful you can go to any of the social organizations that support these causes and try and enroll in for some social work if that is something that you think you can do.

It does take a fair amount of effort and passion to be able to combat these kinds of myths that have become deep rooted in some societies. What does one do when people refuse to acknowledge that they need to use condoms or that it is not against their religion to do so?

Such resistances need to be fought and hurdles need to be overcome and only then can there be any meaning to the awareness that these social outfits are trying to create. It is unfortunate that people fight against their own well being when they resist AIDS HIV awareness and such campaigns.

AIDS prevention can be best accomplished if you are aware of the details of the disease so that you can combat it in the right manner. The full form of AIDS is Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome and it is caused by the human immunodeficiency virus. The condition is such that the immune system of the affected human being becomes weak each day and the patient becomes susceptible to various diseases and tumors. AIDS has been declared a pandemic and it is spreading slowly but surely across the world. The disease is said to have caused the maximum issues in Africa. While it is said to have originated in West-Central Africa, it was discovered by the US Center of Disease Control and Prevention and said to have originated sometime in the late nineteenth century or early. Till date there is no known cure, vaccine or treatment for AIDS and while there are drugs that will slow the spread of the disease death is inevitable. The most common treatment of AIDS is Antiretroviral that actually reduce the mortality and the difficulties that one faces during the course of the disease. It is obvious that only when you know about the symptoms, causes and treatment options can you ensure proper AIDS prevention.

HIV AIDS prevention Africa is the most important since the disease started in that area and has the highest penetration in the area. To ensure prevention we need to know the causes of AIDS. The cause of AIDS is the HIV and it is essential to prevent the transmission of this virus to prevent the disease from spreading.

So the HIV AIDS prevention Africa requires an awareness to be spread. HIV can get transmitted through sexual transmission. This can happen when any kind of sexual fluids come in contact. This basically means that if you come in contact with sexual fluids of someone who has HIV, you can contact it too.

The importance of HIV and AIDS prevention education cannot be undermined. It is important to know that HIV spreads though sexual fluids to be able to ensure that you do not indulge in unsafe sex. Similarly only if you know that the virus can spread through blood will you be careful about disposable syringes.

Another aspect of HIV and AIDS prevention education pertains to the social aspect of the whole thing. If someone does have HIV, it does not mean that the person should be shunned by people. The disease does not spread by touch and therefore people with the condition need to be treated with compassion.

Earlier, it was thought that AIDS could happen only due to unsafe sex and was therefore associated with infidelity. This is however not the case anymore and we know that the HIV virus can spread through blood transmission, using common syringes and other such factors too. Aids prevention therefore needs a concerted effort.
