Cure Aids investigation
There are various alternative remedies that claim to cure AIDS but the fact of the matter is that there is no complete cure for this condition and those who are diagnosed as HIV positive may never be able to get rid of the virus all their lives. The disease is such that people have the virus and are therefore HIV positive but the symptoms may not actually surface for many years. In some cases the symptoms may not make an appearance for as many as ten years. But when they start to do so the prognosis then is not very good and the patient can only last for a maximum of 9 to 11 years depending on the specific type of HIV that the patient is afflicted with. But then there are some of these alternative therapies like acupuncture, ayurveda, herbal and acupressure that claim that their traditional medicine has the cure that conventional medicines do not have till date.
While some of the therapies claim that they cure the condition, there is yet no medicine or therapy that has been proven to be able to do so. Not a single medicine has been able to prove unequivocally that it cures AIDS. In fact there has been some proof of the fact that these remedies do help in making the life of the patient easier to lead especially since the therapies do not have the side effects that are associated with the regular medicines. So while these alternative medicines also do not reduce mortality rates they do allow the patient to lead a better life after the confirmed diagnosis of the condition.
If there are these traditional medicines and herbs that claim that they cure HIV AIDS they are obviously laying claims to something that has not been proved in any laboratory. In fact in this case there are no empirical cases where the patient has been cured of HIV AIDS and therefore one must use these therapies with care. Cure for AIDS is just not available.
Since the cure for HIV AIDS has not been found as yet it should be known that the only manner in which there can be some control of the epidemic is to prevent it. On the other hand the only option left for those who are afflicted with the condition is to try and alleviate the symptoms as much as possible.
The pain and the various problems that arise in the body need to be managed and there is really nothing beyond this that any physician can do. There are various experiments that are underway to find a remedy that can cure AIDS but when either of them shall be ready and confirmed and tested beyond doubt is something that is not known as yet.
